Neo 4K setup: Amazon Fire TV Stick
The device we see most often. The only awkward part is that the player does not live in the Amazon store.
What you need in front of you
- A Fire Stick on your network
- Your Neo 4K credentials
Unhide Developer Options
Settings, My Fire TV, About, then click the device name seven times. Current Fire OS keeps the menu hidden until you do, which is where most people stall before they have begun.
Permit installs from Downloader
In Developer Options, allow installing unknown apps for Downloader specifically rather than globally. Per-app is the safer habit and takes the same ten seconds.
Fetch the player
Install Downloader from the Amazon store, open it, enter the code from our Apps page and let it install. Neither Amazon nor Google carries third-party IPTV players, which is the only reason this step exists.
Sign in with Xtream
Pick the Xtream Codes option, then copy the three values from your account page character for character, case included. Expect a pause while the catalogue builds the first time; afterwards it comes from cache.
Worth knowing
- Developer Options stays hidden until you click the device name seven times under Settings, My Fire TV, About.
- A Fire Stick is Wi-Fi only. An Ethernet adapter solves more stuttering than a newer Stick will.
- Remove the downloaded installer afterwards; storage runs out quickly on these.
