Neo 4K: why a pack beats a channel count
Neo 4K is sold as one of three regional packs rather than as a channel count. What that changes about the list you see, and why the number misleads.
What you are choosing between
Neo 4K asks two questions at checkout and only one of them is about money. The term - three, six, twelve or twenty-four months - decides how long the line lives. The pack decides what is in it, and there are three: USA, Europe and Arabic, each with or without adult categories. A longer term does not gradually widen the pack, and there is no tier above the one you bought to be upgraded into.
That structure is worth understanding because it moves the decision away from a number and towards a place. You are not buying two thousand channels or twenty thousand; you are buying a list assembled around a part of the world, and the only question that matters is whether it was assembled around yours.

Because the figure would not mean what a reader takes it to mean. Totals in this industry are inflated by counting the same broadcast once per quality level, again per regional variant and again in an overlapping category - so two services quoting wildly different numbers can carry almost the same television. The pack is the honest unit: it tells you which part of the world the list was assembled around, which is the decision actually in front of you.
Can I see the whole list before I buy?
Not as a published inventory, and that is deliberate rather than evasive. A fixed list printed on a web page is wrong within weeks as sources move and broadcasters rename things, and a stale list has sent more people to the wrong pack than no list ever did.
